The day will be focussed on breaking down bodyweight movements from the very basic level and building up to the advanced skills, so you feel confident performing them yourself, but also know exactly where to start with clients that want to add something new and different to their training.
The day itself will comprise the following 4 sections:
Handstands - We are going to be covering everything you need to know from mobility and warm ups, through alignment, kick ups and finding balance.
Rings 1- We’ll start with the basics of inverting, and build through our progressions for front and back levers.
Rings 2 - Everything you need to know to build towards a strict ring muscle ups - from false grip and building stability, hitting weak points.
Practical programming and application - None of this is useful without knowing how this fits into the overall program, how much you need to do to progress and how to fit it into your weekly training schedule.

FAQ’s
What if I’m not a coach? Can I still join?
Absolutely. The workshop is catered towards both the specific movements, and how to put them together in a sensible program. If you are purely interested in learning how to progress these bodyweight movements for yourself, and not coaching it, that’s fine. I would always recommend you play around and apply this personally before attempting to coach it anyway. You’ll learn a lot through that process.
I’m carrying an injury, will I still be able to join/get value from the session?
Depending on what the injury is, there will be ways we can work around and scale movements so there is something you can do. However, I think you’ll still learn plenty by being there and being involved in the coaching elements even if you aren’t able to take part in all aspects of the movements. If you want to chat beforehand, please feel free to e-mail me on tom@projectperformance.online to discuss.
I’m worried about whether I’ll be able to keep up.
The goal of this workshop is to find the right level for everyone there, from beginner to advanced. Everything is optional so if there is something you don’t want to do, you don’t have to. Everything is scalable to the right level.
